Obsessions and addictions. We've all got them. They range from movies, tv shows, video games to wanting to make that delicious desert recipe you saw on Facebook yesterday.
What's the current thing your completely obsessing over right now? Chances are you'll find someone here who is addicted to the same thing you are and this is the perfect place to complete fan girl/guy out about it!

I always have several on the go. At the moment they are the Xbox Live Tap Tiles, Mahjong and Solitaire daily challenges, Tiny Death Star app, Angry Birds Star Wars and Obidala.
The Tiny Death Star is running a competition at the moment to unlock various stuff, and I stayed up late on Friday night to try and get as much as I could and slept badly as a result! I didn't think I could get so addicted to it, as the graphics are pixel style, and its in service of the Empire, but the concept is quite clever, it draws you in before you realise it.
Similar case with Angry Birds star wars. I wasn't too sure about it, but I saw you could try the game for free on the app store, so I did and got hooked by the comedy of it, as well as the stunning graphics. The free trial on the app store allowed me to play more levels than I thought it would, I was so caught by it that I played 30 before reached my limit.
When my old laptop died last year - the graphics card went - I was able to get a shiny new sony vaio, with windows 8, as well as sony vegas - I discovered the daily challenges of Tap Tiles, Mahjong and Solitaire. Now I have to play them and make sure I solve all them in the alloted month, otherwise they go and I can never solve them.
One night after we got back from holidaying in the Lake District last year, where there was no internet access, I stayed up until midnight on the last day of September trying to get all the challenges done that I had missed. Unfortunately I didn't succeed and I was so annoyed.
As for Obidala, when I'm not playing these games, I'm busily writing the three stories I have on the go, searching for fics for ideas, or I'll be listening to a piece of music and think, that could work for obidala, then go and create a new desktop. I haven't done another vid yet, but I'm thinking about it, to the tune of Bolero, or Ewan singing Angels possibly, if I can get the edit right.

Tiny Death Star looks awesome, Danielle! I actually came here to post a pixel-style game as well. I'm completely addicted to the Blackwell games at the moment, which are a sort of pixelated adventure/point and click game. Normally this is not my thing AT ALL, but the story of these games has got me absolutely hooked and the company is nothing short of amazing! (I own all their games by now ...) The fifth and last game in the series is coming out in April so I really can't wait! The story is about a young woman named Rosangela Blackwell, whose aunt dies at the start of the first game after spending twenty years or so in a coma. Strange things start happening to Rosangela, and she eventually discovers that she's been saddled with the 'Blackwell Legacy', a sarcastic ghost named Joey who first appeared to her grandmother and then to her aunt. Joey's task as Rosangela's spirit guide is to help her bring lost ghosts to the afterlife. This is not always as easy as it seems though, and in the fourth game there are hints of a larger conspiracy that will be unraveled in the last game. In other obsession news: as a student of English Language and Culture I am naturally obsessed with literature. Specifically historical literature. The older, the better. I especially enjoy Old English. There's a really great poem called 'Wulf and Eadwacer' that nobody understands. I think that's really great, because it allows you to imagine whatever you want about it. I recently discovered there's even a piece of fanfiction written for this poem! That really made my day. I also have a recent obsession with King Arthur legends, thanks to a course I took in that. I also know a fair bit about old manuscripts, and one of my favourite parts of studying ancient literature is getting to go to obscure libraries to look at centuries-old parchment manuscripts. And touch them, of course. I like touching manuscripts. xD And Disney films! Can I just say that I love Disney? I own pretty much every classic Disney film that was ever made on video, and I have about 35 of them on DVD as well (that collection is still expanding). If just know that if I ever have any children I'm going to smother them with Disney-related things. Did anyone here see Frozen? I thought that was a fantastic film, and definitely a comeback for Disney. I liked Tangled too, but Frozen is on par with my favourite Disney classics. The film looked and sounded great, and the characters were just amazing. Also, I recently read 'Wool' by Hugh Howey, and I can definitely recommend that. The book is part of a great sci-fi series that I'm currently reading, and I'm absolutely entranced so far. Definitely recommended if you like science-fiction.

So my biggest obsession right now is easily Netflix's Orange is the New Black (OITNB). OITNB is the story of Piper Chapman, a woman in her thirties who is sentenced to fifteen months in prison after being convicted of a decade-old crime of transporting money for her drug-dealing girlfriend. Here is a trailer for the first season. I apologize in advance for the strong language. Please don't watch if that sort of thing offends you.
And yesterday they announced the release date of season 2, so I'm super stoked about that. Yay!

Haha! Oh man. All those games!! SO much fun. And all the other vids look amazing! Man, I thought OITNB was starting way sooner than next June! Sheesh. Anyway, for my contribution, I present . . . CRACK! Lol. The fandom is linked to my most recent OTP. It's "Person of Interest" and here are some amazingly hilarious crack vids! They're really short only about 1:30 each.
