Title: Bid Time Return. Author: Danielle Pairing: O/P Rating: T (for the moment) Blurb: After she dies giving birth to the twins, Padmé is given the chance to go back in time and rewrite the history of the Republic. It is an opportunity to save her love, the lives of many and the Republic from Palpatine, But as she strives to do so, many changes arise, from which comes a future she never looked for. Click Here to read the first part, posted during OVOC 2013. This part opens with Obi-Wan's perspective, as Padmé continues to save the Naboo without travelling to Coruscant or Tatooine. Notes: This is a time travel story, where Padmé is thrown back in time and given the chance to change history. Where her hopes begin and the journey ends, a life time of changes come into play. I started this in 2010, but due to various distractions and other stories, I resumed writing this only recently. At the moment I'm working on three epics, and giving myself a fortnight rotation, where I focus on each for two weeks, one at a time, which was working quite well before Christmas 2013, but has been rather hit and miss since the start of the new year. Still, I'm now on Part 11, so at least I still have the muse, even if she's proving reluctant at times. Post your feedback for the story by replying to this thread.

That was WONDERFUL, Danielle! I love how you're building their relationship. Obi-Wan is getting to really discover her anew for the first time (Ah the wonders of time-travel!). All the little things that are changing in the timeline let him see all the amazing things about her. Providing an incredibly strong, wonderful foundation for the relationship in later chapters. I'm so terribly excited to see where you take this!

Thank you Rosalie, I'm glad you enjoyed reading it.
Its been a year since the last posting of this story, and I've only just returned to writing it, though this part was written before I abandoned the story to focus on finishing Intimacy Without Intricracy.
I'm pleased there's still excitement for it, and I can't wait for the moment to start posting it all. Even though I only have a inkling at the present of how it will end.

I am a sucker for time travel stories and movies {seriously} and this was so awesome! I do remember part 1 and so happy you are back into writing more! I love how you switched to Obi Wan's POV and working from there. Love it!!

I'm admiring your discipline here - good going on your latest update. If only she can bring everything to rights, now * crosses fingers in hope *

@ Lauren, thank you, I'm glad you remember part one. I love time travel stories too, its been good writing this. The next part will be from Padmé's. I'm trying to do both their perspectives throughout if I can. Whether or not that will work as I continue remains to be seen. @ Amelia, thank you. I am writing it at the moment - along with the other two, posted on Day 2 - and I hope to have it posted at some point this year. I don't like posting stories to a schedule until they're finished, in case my muse goes awol. I left this languising last year because of Intimacy without Intricacy, but this year I'm determined to do more and get it finished. @ pronker, thank you. The discipline keeps me from being distracted, or at least not too much! And I always aim for happy endings, at least for Obidala. At the moment in this story, I plan to be generous to Anakin. Whether or not that'll continue as I carry on with it is another matter.

This is really brilliant Danielle. I had to re-read the first part so I knew what was going on. But I love the time-travel element, I really enjoy Obidala fics based on that. And I loved how Obi-Wan was getting drawn to Padmé. I was really disappointed when I got to the end. I was like "I WANT MORE!"

Thank you Natalie, I'm really pleased that you enjoyed. I included a link to the first part for people to catch up, because I'm all too aware of how long I've neglected this. For some reason my muse was just consumed by Intimacy Without Intricracy last year that I couldn't focus on this. Now I'm determined to do more.
I'm glad you like the time travel element too, its a favourite theme of mine and its nice to be to write it at last.
There will be more I promise, I plan to finish it this year and get it posted.
