Every Valentine's Day weekend (or thereabouts) we get together to celebrate Obi-Wan and Padme. Which leads me to wonder . . . How do you see our OTP spending their Valentines Day?Details are encouraged!  Though, be warned, if it's too spicy we'll have to delete it later. Lol. |

I imagine Obi-Wan giving Padmé breakfast in bed, some roses throughout the day, a picnic in the Lake Country or the Room of a Thousand Fountains if they're on Coruscant. He might shower the bed with rose petals too. There will be a note left on her desk, or in the pod at the senate, or under her pillow. Perhaps all three.

Aw! That's lovely, Danielle. And so very him to be so considerate and romantic. I could definitely see that. I could also see them in the midst of a secret relationship, meeting in the shadows somewhere. Him lamenting at how he can't give her the beautiful candlelit dinner at an expensive restaurant or something like that because it's so public. But she wouldn't care. Because she had him. Lol . . . I took it dark. Sorry. It's kinda what I do. |

Here's what I see...
It's Valentine's Day, but an ever passionate Padmé is far too busy working late at her office to notice. She is reviewing notes on the negotiations of a new trade agreement which she must report at the next Senate meeting.
Finally feeling well satisfied with her day's work, Padmé calls it quits and goes home to her lofty apartment. When she enters the apartment, she finds the lights are on. Obi-Wan, Padmé thinks to herself and her heart skips wildly in her chest.
It was not often that she got to see her Jedi knight. They had both vowed not to allow their passion for each other interfere with their individual duties to the Republic. But here, at her apartment, their safe haven, she could let go... and they could pretend, even if for just a moment, that they were in another place and another time.
"Obi-Wan?" She calls out.
There's no answer. But she feels him. He's there.
Padmé did not need to be Jedi nor did she need to be knowledged in the ways of the Force to sense him. Love, a mysterious and inexplicable force itself, was enough.
And so she lets love guide her to him. He is waiting for her in the bedroom. She makes out his silhouette in the contrasting shades of cold blue moonlight and warm golden candlelight. Obi-Wan wears only the brown hooded robe of his uniform. It is very contrary to his usual meticulous nature. And he wears the robe loosely so that through the open gap she can see a glimpse of his chest glistening in the candlelight. He is in the middle of the room, calm and meditative, eyes closed, and all around him filling the entire room are floating rose petals. Padmé gasps at the beautiful sight.
Obi-Wan keeps his eyes closed as Padmé slowly makes her way to him through the suspended rose petals... they tickle her skin softly as she passes. When she finally reaches him, he opens his eyes and the rose petals begin to flutter down softly like snow falling on a winter day. But Padmé is far from cold. Heat courses through her body when she meets Obi-Wan's penetrating gaze.
"Happy Valentine's Day," He murmurs softly.
Padmé feels his love for her as though he has used the Force to fill her with the purest light. And she knows he wants her just as desperately as she wants him.
Obi-Wan raises his hand, a gesture she has seen him do whenever he has performed a Jedi mind trick.
"You will remove your clothes and come to me."
Padmé silently obeys, releasing the clasps on her dress. She lets it fall to a pool at her feet, then she steps forward.
Hand still raised, he says a little breathlessly, "You will allow me to make love to you until the sun rises."
Padmé nods, light-headed, and Obi-Wan takes her in his arms. He kisses her passionately, picks her up and heads towards the bed
Padmé stops to catch her breath and says, hardly above a whisper. "Why are you using your Jedi mind trick on me?" They are inches apart. And she seems a little upset.
"Oh, but I didn't." Obi-Wan smiles playfully. "Jedi mind trick works only on the weak minded. You, my dear Padmé, are the strongest minded person I know. So, you see, you were in control all along."

I think if Obi-Wan couldn't be there in person to spend time with Padme (because pesky things like the Clone War get in the way) then he'd com her and sing her a romantic song he wrote himself. Because all Ewan characters are great singers of course!
