I warmly welcome you all to the Eighth (almost) Annual Obidala Valentine Online Convention! <3
I say "almost" because, as most of you know, we didn't hold our yearly celebration last year, in favor of celebrating the OFF's 10th Anniversary last June.
Thank you all for joining us here at the OVOC this year. It's brings warm feelings to my heart to see you amazing people.
We're celebrating Obi-Wan and Padme all weekend -- enjoying the new vids, fics, art and discussions made just for you over the next two days! And, of course, you can look forward to what's becoming the most popular part of the OVOC: GIF!WAR!!
This year's convention is a bit smaller than in years past (though I like to think of it as being that much more . . . intimate. *waggles eyebrows*). But as such, we are indebted to those people who were creative and generous enough to share their submissions with us. Your works are the heart of these events! Thank you so much.
I want to take this opportunity to also give special thanks to my fellow mods for their support and dedication. The work they do all year 'round is incredible and altogether inspiring.
