This line was so poignant to me - "He had lost everything, everything except his honour, by being a man true to his word." It just sums up Obi-Wan's character perfectly. Lovely story!

That line stuck out to me too! It was a perfect summary of Obi-Wan through this story. It was a poignant piece of work. I often wonder what Obi-Wan felt after finding out that Anakin and Padme had married. I was glad to see it addressed here. Well done! And thanks for submitting!

This reads like a fable or fairy tale, told over the ages, about legendary heroes who lived long ago, perfectly appropriate to the whole saga. Lovely.

This is just so poignant and touching. I agree with Danielle, it does read like a fairy tale and that line "He had lost everything, everything except his honour, by being a man true to his word", so painful T_T But so true. That really is Obi-Wan in a nutshell. Lovely work.
